Nature of request
Dunlegh states that Edward II bought lands from her tenants at a place called la Rosere against the walls of the tower, which were held of her by rent and by the service of making and keeping the walls against the Thames, which service and repair of the walls he made in his time. The walls are now in a perilous state and she has not been paid, so that she requests that the king order that the walls are hastily repaired and the arrears of her rent are paid.
