Edmund de Seint Clement and Robert de Marny state that they petitioned the last parliament that they might receive advancement from the first rents which fell to the king, for the service they gave him in his war in Gascony, and John de Benstude was ordered to do this, but nothing has yet been done. They now ask the king to command the Keeper, Chamberlain and Chancellor of Scotland to give them advancement from the first rents to fall to the king in Scotland.

Coram rege.The Keeper and Chamberlain are to be ordered to provide each of them with an ecclesiastical benefice to the value of forty marks.
