Reginald Herlisoun states that he had made fine before the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer in £20 to have the office of Usher of the Exchequer, which is now granted to John de Dageworth for a fine made before the said Treasurer, so Reginald could get no advantage from his fine. He requests that it be pardoned him.
Nature of endorsement
He is to await the arrival of the Treasurer and others of the council.A writ of Chancery is to be sent to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer that, if he does not have the bailiwick for which he made fine, the fine is to be annulled.

Dated 'c. 1305' on guard. CPR 1301-1307, p.210 is dated at Dunfermline, 6 February 1304; p. 219 is dated at St. Ford, 9 April 1304; p.337 is dated at Westminster, 6 April 1305. The petition must be later than this last act, of which the petitioner complains, but within the reign of Edward I, so must be datable to 1305-1307.
