Nature of request
The abbot of Jedburgh states that he sued a plea against Richard Hastang as far as the inquest, but he was then delayed in his right until the parliament in London, contrary to the law of Scotland. He requests a remedy, and also that the church's lead be delivered to him by the same Richard, who holds it against the king's command.
Nature of endorsement
Coram toto consilio.James of Dalile and John de Sendale are to be ordered to have the answers to the Scottish petitions from the last parliament produced.
