Nature of request
The abbot of Jedburgh requests 20 oaks in the forest of Plater near Forfar, to rebuild the church of their cell of Restenneth and other buildings of the same cell, which were considerably burnt and destroyed in the war.
Nature of endorsement
The king wishes them to have sufficient timber according to their petition. And they are to have a writ about this to the Chamberlain of Scotland.
