Hugh de Audeleye states that fifty pounds were delivered to him from the Wardrobe, for arms and other equipment for the war in Gascony; and this money is now demanded from him by a summons of the exchequer, and he is distrained by the sheriffs in all the counties where he has lands. He requests a remedy.

Coram rege.The king wishes him to be quit.
