Henry Burry and John de Farle complain that they were wrongly attached by the sheriff of Wiltshire as adherents of the king's felons, whereas they were never allied to them, nor in circumstances in which they did good or evil. They request that they might be released on mainprise on good security.
Nature of endorsement
They are to be granted mainprise according to the form of the petition if they were attached for that reason and no other.

The petition is dated to 1322 as it is clearly in the aftermath of the failed baronial revolt and on the basis of CCR 1318-1323, pp.598-599 which is dated at Barnard Castle, 1322, October 2.
