Nature of request
Brok shows that previously he has sued in parliament for the manors of Finmere and Preston of which he was disseised by Langton and Preston. The king has made an enquiry by an inquest which was returned into Chancery upon which Brok requests that the king view the process and inquests and that law and justice be done to him.

The inquisition should be brought before the council and afterwards with the petition it should be [...] before the king.
