Poor people of the vills of Albury, Farnham, Braughing and Patmore.
Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
The people request that the king order a suitable remedy for any of them concerning the actions of John de Patmore who imprisons them at his will, and only releases them for sums of money, and takes their livestock and other goods and still detains them to their great impoverishment and detriment.
Nature of endorsement
He who feels himself injured by this should sue at the common law.
