Nature of request
Bayouse shows that Beauflour sued against him an oyer and terminer, and suddenly he was placed in exigent, for which he sued in Chancery that he be able to have a writ to the justice that having found sufficient mainprise to keep his day, that the king should wish to grant a supersedias to the sheriff, which writ was in use in Chancery, but is now forbidden, thereupon he requests grace and remedy.
Nature of endorsement
He should go before the justices before whom the plea is, and there let his petition be heard.

The petition is dated to 1320 by the heading in Rot. Parl., vol I, p.365 for the parliament held on Monday in the octave of St Michael, 14 Edward II.
