- The petition is dated to 1320 when the justices were ordered to supersede rendering judgment in this matter (CCR 1318-23, pp.306-7), and because a summary of the duplicate of this petition (SC 8/86/4273) is enrolled on the roll of the Michaelmas parliament in that year. This petition can therefore be dated to that parliament.
