Nature of request
The prior requests that good men who are not corruptible by gifts be appointed to take an inquest into the lands and tenements alienated from the priory to the disinheritance of the king. The sub-escheator who is to take the inquest is considered too disposed to the tenants of the priory.

Justices are to be assigned in Chancery who are sufficient and in no way suspect to enquire of the contents of the petition.
