Nature of request
Bruly request on behalf of his brother that the king grant a writ for the arrest of goods of the Flemings in the realm of England. His brother had brought a cargo of wine from Bordeaux to England, but it was stolen by the Flemings, and although the king has granted that he and others should have the goods of the Flemings, he has been unable to obtain a writ, and has had nothing.1)
