Nature of request
Northampton and the others request remedy for a debt that has been owing to them for a long time for various merchandise that Nicholas de Tickhill and John de Norton took for the works at the palace of Westminster. They have sued at the Exchequer but have been rebuffed, and are all ruined by the non-payment.
Nature of endorsement
1) The treasurer and barons are ordered to view the accounts of the clerks, and if they find that the king is served, then the king is to be informed, and if they find that he isn't, then they are to summon the parties and explain the reasons.2) Coram domino rege.

Note
It is not clear how this relates to SC 8/3/150, which dates to 1320, so it is uncertain whether it pre- or post-dates it. A note on the guard seems to place it c. 1320 but on no better evidence than SC 8/3/150.
