- 1) Mulcastre requests a writ of warrant to make repairs to the houses of the castle of Carlisle. He shows that parts of the houses are totally destroyed, whilst others need re-roofing and other repairs. If it is addressed now it cost £20, but if it is left until after the summer it will cost £40.2) He also requests that the chancellor command Robert de Clifford by a writ of the king to deliver timber for the repair of the houses.1)
