Nature of request
Boyland impleaded Robert Fitz Walter by a writ for a rent in Diss before the justices of Common Bench, to which Robert called to warranty John de Boyland who did not appear, and judgement was awarded to Boyland. Following this Fitz Walter challenged the judgement with an error and the judgement was reversed. Boyland requests that as the original writ and the process to the judgement were good, that the dispute should continue and the parties be resummoned to continue the plea as his long suit and his process are good, and should not be allowed to perish without his default.
Nature of endorsement
Robert de Brabazon is ordered that if the judgement of the rent in the Bench was reversed coram rege then he should send back the record and process with the original writ and all other things concerning it to the justices of the Bench and Boyland's suit be resummoned in the same state in which it was before the error was made in the same.

The petition is dated to 1315 by reference to the title in Rot. Parl., vol I, p.314, noting this petition to be for the parliament held at Westminster in the octave of Hillary, 8 Edw.II. The petition is wrongly dated to 1290 in SCCKB, vol. II, (entry t) p. cxxiv.
