Lucy requests that the king make any consideration or allowance of his grace for his share in the woods of Allerdale which he holds in common with the king. The king has taken most of the woods for his peels of Dumfries and Abbeytown.
Nature of endorsement
Robert de Clifford or his deputy, and John de Insula should view the wood and enquire of the damage to it by a writ of Chancery, and the council should be certified.

The petition is dated to 1307 based upon the dating of Rot. Parl., vol I, p.192, the dating of the memoranda roll being for the parliament at Carlisle on Wednesday in the Octave of St Hillary, 35 Edw. I.
