Description

Cumberland to Chesterfield: strength of the Austrian forces for the next campaign. He fears attacks on the winter quarters from the Maas and from Dutch Brabant. Recommendations for promotions. He encloses a copy of a letter from Saxe [SP 87/23/182]. Dated at headquarters at Argenteau. PS. that he encloses a packet for Drumond of Charing Cross from the French camp. ff. 391-393
