Description

Correspondence from 'the printers of Jamaica', requesting discontinuation of a printing office in the General Penitentiary. Enclosed: correspondence and enclosures from printers, report by inspector of prisons into the prison printing experiment.

Colonial Office reply: printing equipment at prison should remain.
