Cumberland to Chesterfield: unreasonable behaviour of M Puisseau. He encloses a copy of a letter he has sent after Bathiani [SP 87/23/159]. He believes the Austrians will supply the same number of troops in the next campaign. He will attempt to form a plan for the next campaign. The prince of Orange has put the battalion of guards and Bragg's into s'Hertogenbosch and the two battalions of Royals into Heusden. Arrival of five Hanoverian battalions at the army and two from Scotland at Willemstad. The French are beginning to go into winter quarters. Dated at headquarters at Argenteau. ff. 341-344
