Cumberland to Chesterfield: if there is time to copy them he will enclose two plans of Bergen op Zoom [SP 87/23/123, 124]. Bathiani wishes him to await the arrival of Baron von Reyschach before the first meeting between Sandwich and the marquis de Puissieux. He quotes from the cartel [of Frankfurt] to justify his action on the prisoners. The French king appears to be on the point of departing for Paris. Dated at headquarters at Richelle. ff. 263-265
