States the society's inability to recommend anyone for the appointment as Clergyman for Southampton and Sandys Parishes in Bermuda. The Colonial Office mentions that Rev Bruce Mackay, a Church of England clergyman in the diocese of Nova Scotia, has been chosen to fill the position. Encloses a letter from the Bishop of Nova Scotia concerning the appointment of Rev Mackay. Also see CO 37/210/18 and CO 37/210/85
