1878 July 9
Reports vote to pay £150 for the travelling and personal expenses for any officer of the Imperial Post Office that is selected to make an inspection of the Bermuda Post Office. Also explains that an apparent discrepancy between two sums quoted for the annual amount paid by the Treasury to the Powder Fund was due to the exchange rate between Sterling and the old Colonial Currency and that the amounts were identical in value.
