Reports the continued dispute between the House of Assembly and the Executive over the production of the Books of Public Accounts and explains that the Receiver General was ordered by the Governor to lay the books before the House. Encloses an article from The Bermudian dated 18 August 1877 on the Public Books of Account as well as a copy of the Proceedings of the House of Assembly for 15 August 1877. Also see CO 37/209/17
