Chesterfield to Cumberland: Saxe's and Ligonier's correspondence has been shown to the king, whose answer is enclosed to be translated and sent by Ligonier. A copy has been sent to Sandwich. Cumberland is to communicate the contents to Bathiani. The king suggests reinforcing Bergen op Zoom. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 131-133
