Cumberland to Chesterfield: possible candidates to command the highland regiment for the Dutch service.Dated at headquarters at 'Rycholt'. PS. Ligonier will write to Saxe with the answers to his dispatches. The marshal [Bathiani] has been given powers to treat on any peace proposal. He encloses a return of the allied army [SP 87/23/39]. The enemy is 120,000 strong. ff. 79-81
