Memorial from the Diocesan Council of the Church of England in Jamaica, regarding the Bishop of Kingston. Council request reconsideration of a decision made by House of Commons regarding payment of Bishop from consolidated fund (references House of Commons paper No.195 of 1873). Colonial Office regrets that after the decision of 1868, there are no grounds to reconsider conclusion. With reference to despatch No. 378, 15th June 1872.
