Minutes of meeting No.39 held 8 May 1920:

1. Communication by Mr Hugh C Wallace (US representative) regarding the appointment of an American arbitrator for river navigation.

  • Appendix A, Letter from the American Ambassador to the President of the Conference.

2. Handing over the Treaty to the Turks. Period allowed for reply.

3. Communications by Lord Derby (British representative) regarding ratification of the Treaty with Austria and the Treaty with Bulgaria; appointment of Mr Vansittart to witness handing over of Treaty to Turkish delegates.

4. Question of Schleswig.

  • Appendix B, Memorandum on procedure after new German-Danish frontier has been fixed by the Conference of Ambassadors.

5. Auditing of the accounts of the Schleswig Commission.
