OFFICIAL VISITS: 'Nepalese Princess Visits Nelson's Old Flagship.' 'Princess Sharada Shah (left), younger daughter of the King of Nepal, is shown the spot on the deck of H.M.S. Victory - Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship, now preserved in permanent dry dock at Portsmouth in Southern England - where this famous British sailor fell mortally wounded at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. With the Princess is Lieutenant Commander C. Whittington, M.B.E., the ship's present Commanding Officer. The Princes, touring Britain for four weeks as the guest of the British Government, visited several naval establishments in the Portsmouth area and dined by candlelight aboard H.M.S Victory as the guest of Admiral Sir Frank Hopkins, K.C.B., D.S.O., D.S.C., Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth.
