Report of John William Rose, Recorder of London, on George Robbins, convicted at the Old Bailey in April 1789, for stealing 17lbs of beef and other articles, value 10/8. The prisoner was found near the house at 3.30 a.m. with the stolen goods, a rope and crow, and the lock from the safe. Recommendation: no mercy. Folios 172-173. See also HO 47/9/83, folios 318-319.
