Report of John William Rose, Recorder of London, on James Hunt, convicted for stealing a quantity of sheet lead, value 14/-, in January 1789. Prisoner was witnessed on the roof in question by John Sheffield, and was found, with 2 others, in possession of lead that matched that missing from the gutters. Evidences supplied by John Sheffield and ---- Cromartie. Recommendation: no mercy.
