Letter from John William Rose, Recorder of London, to Grenville stating that Elizabeth Ann Wade had not been tried for obtaining a gown under false pretences as stated in her petition, but for stealing the same, and that a Mr Akerman had informed him after the trial that she had formerly been convicted of setting fire to her house with fraudulent intent.
