Description

Report/memorial of Edward Willes on prisoners capitally convicted on the Northern Circuit, reprieved on 'favourable circumstances' and recommended on conditions mentioned:

1. Matthew Mitchell and Percival Elliott, convicted for burglary at the 'last Yorkshire Assizes, recommended to 7 years transportation.

2. William Law, convicted for grand larceny at the 'last' Yorkshire Assizes, recommended to 7 years transportation.

3. James Anderson, convicted for grand larceny at the 'last' City of York Assizes, recommended to 2 years of hard labour on the River Thames.
