Certificate/memorial of John Heath concerning Thomas Foster, convicted at the 'last' Summer Assizes at Coventry in Warwickshire, by William Henry Ashhurst, for obtaining goods by false pretences. Grounds for clemency: some 'favourable circumstances' in the prisoner's case were represented at the 'last' Assizes at Coventry in March. Initial sentence: 7 years transportation to America. Recommendation: free pardon.
