Certificate/memorial of Lord Loughborough, on prisoners capitally convicted on the Norfolk Circuit, reprieved because of 'favourable circumstances appearing' at their trials and recommended for mercy on the conditions set against their names:
Buckinghamshire Assizes at Buckingham in July
1. Joyce Cripps, for housebreaking, recommended to 12 months hard labour in the house of correction.
2. Joseph Morris, for burglary, recommended to 7 years transportation.
Liberty of Bury St. Edmunds in July
3. John Murrills junior, for stealing 2 cows, recommended to 7 years transportation.
Norfolk Assizes at the Castle of Norwich in August
4. John Seaman, for stealing a mare, recommended to 7 years transportation.
5. Simon Tuffs junior, for burglary, recommended to 7 years transportation.
6. John Haynes alias Clarke and William Haynes alias Clarke, for stealing a gelding, recommended to 7 years transportation.
7. Thomas Codman, for a highway robbery, recommended to 14 years transportation.
