Description

Certificate/memorial of George Nares and Lord Loughborough, on prisoners capitally convicted on the Norfolk Circuit, reprieved because of 'favourable circumstances' appearing in their cases and recommended for mercy on the conditions set against their names:

Buckinghamshire Assizes at Aylesbury in March

1. John Wilson, for stealing a gelding, recommended to 7 years transportation to America.

2. Richard Simmons alias Stevens, for stealing a gelding, recommended to 7 years transportation to America.

3. John Franklin, for sheep stealing, recommended to 7 years transportation to America.

4. John Denny, for sheep stealing, recommended to 7 years transportation to America.

5. Joseph Bryant, for burglary, recommended to transportation for life to America.
