Order of the Kings' Bench issued on receiving the report of Duncan Campbell, Superintendent of the convicts on board the Censor and Justitia hulks on the River Thames concerning John Blancher, convicted at Gloucestershire, on 19 June 1784. Grounds for clemency: has behaved well in prison and Francis Buller is aware of that. Initial sentence: 'for 3 years and ordered for transportation but commuted'. Recommendation: mercy, the prisoner to be given decent clothing at the time of his discharge.
