Report/Letter of James Adair, Recorder of London, on Robert Jones and George Thorpe. No detail of their cases is stated as he does not have the notes of the sessions in which either of them were convicted. He refrains from making any recommendation to Jones. Thorpe has asked in a petition [wanting] to transport himself to America where he has relatives in Carolina, instead of Africa as intended. As he cannot be transported immediately, he is recommended for a pardon on condition to transport himself for the period of sentence.
