Letter from Beaumont Hotham regarding Susannah Minton currently under sentence of death at Hereford. Cannot recollect the prisoner stating that 'this' summer he has only been on the Western Circuit although he was at Hereford 'this time twelvemonth' and suggesting that this case has been referred to him in error. On his return to London he will consult his old notes in case she did come before him the previous year. Folios 287-288. See also HO 47/4/53, folios 291-292 and HO 47/4/57, folios 306-307.
