Description

10 items extracted from CO 879/19/10. Gold Coast (now Ghana), Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire). 10 maps of the coastal area around Assinie, Beyin, Newtown (now also Nyekyima), the Aby Lagoon and the mouth of the Tano River, showing settlements.

(19) Showing routes and travelling distances. Compass indicator. Approved by H Higgins, District Commissioner, Newtown, 2 January 1884. (20) Showing the frontier as settled between the French and Dutch in 1869. [By] J S, 22 January 1884. (21) Showing the boundary of 1869 and the British and French protectorates [as existing in 1883].
