Description

1 item (formerly filed with a print of despatch number 37, 19 January 1884) extracted from CO 879/19/10 (folio 379). Gold Coast (now Ghana). Map of the area between Half Assini, and Shama, showing roads and rivers. Scale: 1 inch to about 12 miles. Compass indicator. Lithographed by Dangerfield, Covent Garden. A note states: 'The Akompeh and Dunkuow Road is the only means of communication between Wassaw & Awrn'. Signed: Charles W Thompson, Assistant Inspector, Gold Coast Colony, 2 January 1884.
