Description

'Plan shewing in Yellow the position of the Ground applied for by the Chinese for an enclosed Burial Ground near the Cemetery Port Louis Mauritius'. Also shows burial grounds marked 'Christian', 'Mohammedan' and 'Malabar's'. Scale: 10.7 inches to 50 toises. Compass indicator. Copied by A B Fyers, Lt RE, 9 September 1852. Signed by M A Waters, Lt Col CRE, to accompany his letter of 9 September 1852.
