South-eastern Africa. 2 maps (showing areas now in Mozambique). (1) 'Mozambique, Slave Coast'. Scale: 1 inch to about 55 miles (calculated). (2) '(Sheet V) Africa. East Coast. Mozambique to Pomba [sic, now Pemba] Bay... by Capt. W. F. W. Owen... 1824': showing the route taken by Consul Elton, October - December 1877. Scale: 1 inch to about 9 miles (calculated). Compass rose. Lithographed by Harrison & Sons, St Martin's Lane [1878]. Dimensions: (1) 31 cm x 37 cm; (2) 41 cm x 28 cm. Originally enclosures number 2 (item 1) and number 3 (item 2) to the print, [1878], of [?Consul Elton's despatch] number 358, 3 January 1877.
