Surveyed by Lieutenant P Belyavsky, Russian Imperial Navy 1863; drawn for engraving by C O'N Clark, Hydrographic Office; engraved by Davies Bryer & Co; published at the Admiralty, 20 July 1868; corrections 1869-1876. Different MS additions, coloured, to each item, relating to the fortifications of Odessa. Originally illustrating a memorandum by Sir Lintorn Simmons on Black Sea fortifications, 27 January 1877; and a report by Consul G E Stanley, on Odessa defences, 21 April 1877.
