Persia and Russian Empire. 'The Kopet Dagh [sic, now spelled Kopet Dag]. Showing lines of Russian Operations to Septr. 1879': map (showing areas now in Iran and Turkmenistan). Scale: 1 inch to 16 miles. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quartermaster General's Department, 1879. Originally accompanied: 'Notes on the Russian Expedition against the Tekke Turkomans, 1879'.
