Central Asia. Map (of areas now in Afghanistan, Pakistan and neighbouring countries), showing fortified camps recommended by Major-General Hamley and the Intelligence Branch, Quartermaster General's Department. Scale: 1 inch to 65 miles. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quartermaster General's Department, 1878. Originally accompanying papers on the north-west frontier of India. This appears to be the lower (southern) sheet only of a larger map; there may also have been a northern sheet, bearing the title, but this is not in the file.
