North Sea. 'Plan of Battle off Jutland May 31 st 1916': British and enemy tracks. Reference table. Signed J R Jellicoe, Admiral, 18 June 1916. Lithographed by Malby & Sons, December 1920. To illustrate print of Home Fleet letter no 1396/0022 of 18 June 1916 from J R Jellicoe, Admiral: plate 1a in Official Despatches relating to the Battle of Jutland (Cmd 1068). Although Jellicoe subsequently forwarded a revised version of this chart (MPI 1/671/40-41), he finally decided that this earlier version was more correct (see page 51 of Cmd 1068).
