Malta: Valletta. Plan of the harbour showing proposed completion of wharves and slips in the South West Extension. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by George R Wilkinson. Originally enclosed in a letter dated 21 July 1866 from Rear Adm Henry Kellett, CB. An MS note reads 'Soundings were taken by Mr. F.J. Gray, Acting Master, Mr. J.Y. Sulivan, Sub Lieut. and Mr. Dixon Mastrs. Asst. H.M.S. "Firefly". January 8th & 9th 1866'.
