Map of the coast from Cape Verga to Cape Palmas showing part of the kingdom of 'Melli' (now Mali), the kingdom of Sierra Leone and part of 'Grande Guinee' (now Guinea) and the 'Coste de Maniguete ou Grein Kust' (the 'Grain Coast', roughly identical with the coast of present-day Liberia), with place names, and notes on (i) the country and (ii) an exploration by Captain Ford. Insets show (i) the anchorage of Sierra Leone and 'Territoire de Bolme Berre [last two words deleted] je dis de Bourre'; (ii) a small view of the coast with a scroll reading 'Au NNE 6 Lis. Veue du Cap Verga alias Furnado'. Scale: 1 inch to 32 miles. Compass rose.
