Key showing British and French posts and penetration inland. Notes on strengths of garrisons. Boundary lines. Published 22 October 1897; amended and corrected to 12 November 1897. MS additions show proposed and actual frontiers, dates of treaties, British and French garrisons and posts. 4 October 1897. The map extends from 4°W to 6°E and to 14°N.
